Definitely a different type of bbq than I am used to but first time trying it and it didn't disappoint. I just ordered the sandwich and it was good. Would recommend.

Cute place. Good location. The food did not disappoint. My son got the Pigmac burger and he could not stop talking about it. My brisket sandwich was also good. It's all about the meat. Good fresh quality.

We came here on a whim and said let's get some burgers. Service was fast and the people were also pretty nice ! They had indoor and outdoor seating and you can hear your name being called from both areas when it's time to pick your food up. We got the classic burger and the brisket. Both were good but the brisket was truly the star of the show. Neither sandwiches were dry both very flavorful. The brisket was so tender you didn't have to fight for a bite it naturally just melted in your mouth the fries were great hot crispy and seasoned to perfection and they weren't overly salty which is a huge plus.

Went here for lunch after going through city market. The service was pretty fast! I got the jalapeño burger and it was super yummy! I do wish the burger had a cream cheese option with it being a jalapeno popper burger. I feel the prices are pretty fair. There was seating outside and inside!

The Pigwich sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I got mine without the slaw, however. I normally don't go for pulled pork sandwiches but super glad I did. I was too full for the fries afterwards. The lids to the cups are awkward and after attempting to get it on, I gave up.

Great spot! Stopped in on a Sunday morning/early afternoon and there was a line out the door. You order at the counter and grab a number. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the pigwich sandwich, cheesesteak, and Nashville hot chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Food came out quickly and prices were more than fair. The sandwiches were all great portion sizes. Pigwich took the cake- it was exceptional. Cheesesteak was equally wonderful. Nashville hot chicken sandwich has Mcchicken vibes. Fries were crispy and fresh. Lastly, had chocolate chip cookies (they have 1-2 other dessert options as well) which were delicious. Will certainly back- I know why the line was so long now!

First time visiting Pigwich! It's been on our list for years. I'm so sorry we waited this long. We brought an out of town guest and the vibe of the City Market area was perfect. There was a long line but totally worth it for the delicious, fresh food. The staff person was so nice and did a great job with a huge holiday lunch rush. Everything we ordered came out perfect, hot, and soooo good! There is interior or exterior seating. I ordered the Build Your Own Burger with cheddar, Q sauce, fried onions, and dill pickles. Yum!! I believe the pickles were house made. So delicious!! The fries and sweet potato fries were amazing! Highly recommend this place and can't wait to go again.

After initially hearing of the greatness of Pigwich many years ago, my wife and I finally made it down to the River Market for lunch at this famous, KC meat purveyor! Famous? Yup - Guy Fieri-and-Andy Reid-famous!! (Does it get any more famous than that?). Andy brought Guy by for a stop on the Triple-D path through town not too far back. Enough on intangibles... how was the experience for us? In a word: DELICIOUS!! It's located on the southwest corner of the Kansas City River Market square. Fast-casual in style, you submit your order at the counter, they call you up when the food is ready, and you can dine inside or out, either in their restaurant property, or out in the market! On our visit, we tried a burger, a pork sandwich, and a large basket of fries! Wifey and I agreed that the pork sandwich was the winner of the two, but both were fantastic! And the fries?!? On POINT!!! Perfectly cooked and seasoned, and paired perfectly with their barbecue sauce! The burger was much different than I anticipated, but mainly in a good way. It seemed much better seasoned than your average burger. I anticipated more of a purist approach, but props to the creator for taking it a notch above! The dining room was clean, there were plenty of beverages on offer, plenty of sauce and dipping options, and nice folks working the counter! We won't make the mistake of waiting years to get back here again for round two! Food = 5/5 Facility = 3/5 Service = 3/5 Ambiance = 3/5 Value = 5/5

Wow!!! How can this place not be closer to 4.5 or higher!!!! Absolutely fantastic!!! First of all, down in the revitalized KC River Market, so go take a scroll on an ice Saturday and make sure you save your appetite for Pigwich!!! Casual place where you order at the counter and they call your name. Had the Pork Brisket sandwich and it was amazing!!! Was worth the drive from St Louis!!! 5+ stars all the way around!!! Run, don't walk to this joint & make the trip from where ever you are!!!
